The Stop is planning a special remembrance of Jennyfer on Friday March 15th starting at 2pm in their Drop-in.

Dear All,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this. As many of you will have heard, one of our volunteers and a community member Jennyfer Lachapelle was killed early Wednesday morning at 61 Pelham Park Gardens.
Jennyfer had been volunteering with our Community Dining program for over a year and was one of the friendly faces who greeted people as they came into the program. She also volunteered with The Stop Community Food Centre.
As this horrible news has affected many community members and volunteers at both agencies, DPNCHC and The Stop are working together to provide opportunities for individuals to remember Jennyfer and share their grief.
The Stop is planning a special remembrance of Jennyfer on Friday March 15th starting at 2pm in their Drop-in. After a time of sharing, people are invited to walk together to take flowers to 61 Pelham where she was killed.
DPNCHC will be providing drop in times for those community members and volunteers who wish to talk to one of our Counsellor Therapists. The sessions will be on the following days:
Monday March 25th– 3:30 to 5pm in Perth Hall
Wednesday March 27th 3:30-5pm in Perth Hall
Please encourage anyone impacted by this to come to one of the sessions.
Sincerely,
Wendy Lancashire
Director, Community Support Services
