Town Hall with MPP Marit Stiles

On Wednesday, February 2nd join Davenport MPP Marit Stiles for a virtual townhall meeting with local arts organizations and cultural workers to discuss the rapidly changing landscape for artists in the city.

From the Rehearsal Factory on Geary to the Sterling Lofts, arts artists and cultural workers are being forced out of our city. We need solutions to provide truly affordable living, working, creating and performing space in our city.

Panelists include:

• Andrew Cash, President and CEO of the Canadian Independent Music Association, and former MP for Davenport
• David Gale, President of ACTRA Toronto
• Dr. Jill Andrew, MPP for Toronto-St. Paul's, and Official Opposition Critic for Culture and Heritage and Women's Issues
• Jessica Bell, MPP for University-Rosedale, and Official Opposition Critic for Housing; Tenant Rights; Urban Planning
• Andrea Lothrop, a tenant at Sterling Lofts
• Pia Bouman, Founder and Creative Director, Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement
